Dr Stuart Andrew Porteous Ward (m)
BM DRCOG Graduated Southampton University 1986. Dr Ward has been at Fryern since 1991 and is a part time principal. He teaches final year students and has been appointed Medical Director of SHIP (Southampton City, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Portsmouth City PCT Cluster). Married with 4 children, his interests include gardening and playing golf.
Dr Mark C Aley (m)
MB ChB DRCOG MRCGP JCCCert DFFP MBAS
Qualified in Leeds 1982. Dr Aley was the team Doctor at Bradford City Football Club where he developed an interest in musculoskeletal medicine and acupuncture. He is a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society. Dr Aley also has an interest in cosmetic dermatology.
Dr Guinevere Ann Foote (f)
MB ChB DCH MRCGP
Qualified in Bristol in 1976, Dr Foote has a special interest in paediatrics. Her outside interests include gardening.

Qualified 1980 Southampton and did her GP training in Nottingham. Part-time principal at Fryern from 1986 - 1991 and rejoined in 1998. Married with 2 daughters.
Dr Helen Phillips (f)
MB ChB MRCGP DFFP Qualified in Birmingham in 1995, Dr Phillips is a part time partner and has worked at the Surgery since 2002. She has interests in family planning and minor operations. Dr Phillips is married with 2 children and her interests incluide tennis and gardening.
