Whooping cough cases increase

Cases of whooping cough (pertussis) reported to the Health Protection Agency (HPA) in England and Wales have more than doubled from 421 cases in 2010 to 1040 in 2011. Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made by returning the tear-off slip attached to your last prescription. If this is unavailable the request must be in writing. We regret we cannot accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the phone or by fax.

Repeat Prescriptions are only for items you normally have or not due for review.

PLEASE NOTE WE WILL NOT ACCEPT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS THAT ARE TAKEN FROM PRESCRIPTION PACKETS BUT ONLY THOSE ALREADY ON YOUR GREEN REPEAT PRESCRIPTION SLIP .

If you would like your prescription posted to you please enclose a stamped addressed envelope, otherwise all repeat prescriptions will be available for collection 2 working days after the request is received.
